Valentine at Home

How are you going to spend your Valentine’s Day? I guess people everywhere divide in two groups – those who love it and those who just consider in just another marketing trick. I have always been a romantic, so I welcome every reason to spend some extra time with my boyfriend or my beloved family. This year Peter and I are going to celebrate our 11th Valentine’s Day together, and to be honest, we can’t always think of another original thing to do. When we were younger, we both lived at our parents’, so we always tried to think of something special to do on Valentines. Now we’re finally living together in our own apartment, so we learned to love spending time in our home. We don’t have any actual plans for the Valentines, because Peter is away and we’ll have to postpone it a couple of days this year, but we might go for a nice dinner in the city and then come back home and enjoy the peace and quiet together.

We might be boring, but the thing is, Peter, some cute candles and a good wine is all I need really. So we’re going to snuggle up on our comfy sofa (or in our big bed :P), light up all the candles around, hope we don’t set our place on fire and devour the best wine in the world for us – Tokaj given to us by my gradma (best Grandma in the world, by the way). We don’t always need great big gestures to feel special in life. Sometimes, all it takes is being able to enjoy all the love that we can get. 🙂
