Packing for London

When I was little, excitement of travel kept me awake nights before the departure. To anywhere further than my Grandma’s. I was giddy, restless, full of expectation. I’ve always loved travelling. In any form – by car, by bus, by train, by plane… I first flew on a plane when I was 13, so that took a while, although it could definitely be worse. Now I still live it just as much as when I was 10. I can’t wait to set on a journey and discover new places, new people, new things.

Tomorrow I’m leaving for London thanks to F&F, which invited me to review their new Autumn/Winter 2016 collection and I can’t wait! If you follow my blog long enough, you know that London is my favourite place on Earth, just after my home home. It’s my ideal dream home. It hasn’t worked out for me yet, but I’m not loosing hope and I’m really looking forward to visiting the beautiful city again.

Packing, however, is a different story. That has never been my forte, although I’m getting better. I keep reminding myself that I don’t need my whole wardrobe with me and that I’ll get by with a few good basic pieces 🙂 All in all, I’m taking a one statement pink jacket, a few striped pieces, because stripes look great anywhere and anytime, comfy shoes for miles of walking and one cute outfit for dinner. There are several essentials in my bag, though: the comfy shoes, camera (my lovely purple Olympus), my iPhone (with a selfie stick, for when I’m alone) and a small crossbody bag that will keep my hands free.

I’ll be busy walking, watching, talking and taking notes until Saturday, so please follow my Facebook and Instagram for updates 🙂

See you in London!
