No regrets

Americans and Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving in fall and I think it’s a wonderful holiday. So wonderful, in fact, that I think we should celebrate it much more often, because there is always something to be thankful for.
After quickly finishing my exams last week and doing some work on the Opera Ball in Bratislava I returned home and decided that I am going to spend the rest of my holidays only with my family, my love and friends. The most important people in my life. My semester doesn’t start till February 17th, so I have a few weeks ahead of me and nothing much to do, so I’m going to completely enjoy my last real holiday at home and be grateful for every minute with my loved ones.
I can give my thanks every day. I’m healthy to enjoy my days and nights with my amazing boyfriend, cute nephew, great parents and my lovely grandma. I am very lucky to have a job that I love, writing stories about people I admire and things that inspire me, I’m lucky that we live in the times that I get to share all this with you 🙂 So for the next few weeks, I’m going to rest, relax, enjoy people around me and look for inspirational stories everywhere. I’m going to do what makes me happy without any regrets. This year is going to be full of big changes and this is probably the last worry-free time that I’ll get, so I’m going to make the most of it!
What are you up to these days? Do you have exams at school or work? Does it snow where you are? Because winter in Slovakia is still annoying – cold but no snow in sight… I can’t wait for spring!
